A View of Mount Batur

This is a view of Mount Batur or Gurung Batur (as it is called in Bahasa Indonesia) from the hills of

Kintamani in Bali. This is an active volcano. On the right you will see the Lake Batur, largest crater lake in Bali which is part of the outer crater. There are several villages near the lake and treeking to the top of Mount batur is very popular amongst tourists. Some of our friends undertook a night trek to cath sunrise from the top.

      @laila , Absoutely! We spent quite sometime and also had our lunch in one of the restaurants on Kintamani.
